New guy jumping in

Greetings all from the great state of Texas. I've been a haphazard user of MFP in the past but now re-committing to get back in shape. I'm a former triathlete from the 80's, and now find that age and some health problems have added way too much weight.

Intend to follow a high veggie/lean protein diet, walk daily and do Beachbody Power 90. Have a long way to go to reach my goal weight of 195 but look forward to reaching that. Will appreciate the group's support and help, and I'll return the same as much as I can.
