HRT

I have tried nearly all forms of hormone therapy for my menopausal symptoms and could not tolerate any of the forms of hormones. When I try any of them, my heart about races out of my chest, I get horrible anxiety attacks, I feel very nervous and jittery and just cant stand it. Has anybody else had this happen to them? Also, im new to this and would like to meet some friends on here that are going thru the menopause.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've only done bioidentical HRT. I got some benefit with it, but have ultimately stopped it. Not because of side effects, but rather to get a sense of where things are peri-menopause wise.
I talk about it here:

There are several women in that group (menopause/peri-menopause) working with HRT.
Best of luck finding what works for you.0 -
Thanks! Its good to get others opinions and thoughts on what has and hasn't worked for them. I'll check it out! : )0

I'm so glad you posted here. I've been going through perimenopause for about a year now (hot flashes, irregular periods, etc.) and haven't attempted to do anything about it. My obgyn gave me lab test orders over a year ago but because they are "fasting" tests, I keep putting it off. I need to just pick a day and set my alarm, put a note "do not drink coffee this morning" and go get em done.0
