Home Dumbbell Workouts?

Hey everyone
So quick question: does anyone have any good at home dumbbell workouts they would recommend? Currently I live out in the country, therefore takes me awhile to get into town, not to mention the gym at my university is semi strict on their parking rules, therefore it's really inconvenient for me to go into town every time that I want to lift. This is only going to be short term, since I will be moving into town in August (ish), so for the duration of that time are there any good routines that you guys have done at home? I need to build up my strength as it is, so that I can lift heavier when I do go to the gym, but right now I don't have the time to just go into town whenever I need to hit the gym.
For reference, I have 2 8lb dumbbells I've been using, though I bought 10lbs as well since I know eventually the 8lbs will be too light. I know it sounds like a small amount of weight, but I'm small as it is, & don't want to start out too insanely heavy & risk injuring myself. Slow & steady works better I'll get to heavier weights in time. Not to mention my lower body is stronger than my upper body.
Any advice & workouts would be great. I've gotten some from bodybuilding.com but I'm always looking for other advice & new routines.

You could try doing 30 Day Shred videos (they're on youtube) which is a good one to do with lighter weights.
Otherwise try doing moves like Turkey Getup, clean and press, snatch, windmills and other lifts that use a whole range of muscles at once.
Or you could do hybrid moves, like a squat with row, lunge with curl, side lateral and front raises, etc.0 -
I would suggest a full body routine performed 3x weekly. Focus on compound lifts. AllPros (bodybuilding.com) could certainly be modified to be performed with dumbells.
1. Squats
2. Bench Press
3. Bent Over Rows
4. Overhead Press
5. Stiff Legged Deadlift
6. Curl
7. Calf Raise
Each of those exercises can be performed with the equipment you have. If you don't have a bench, you can do floor presses instead. Same idea.

The idea is that you run in 5 week cycles and increase weight each cycle (so adjustable dumbells would come in handy). However, to keep things simple and to master your form I'm sure you could just start by performing the exercises with the weights you have (8,10lbs) without initially focusing on progressing to heavier weight / more strength.0 -
Javorek's dumbbell complex, to give you both strength and conditioning at the same time. Oh, and it's a good cardio workout as well.

I did RushFit right after P90X and found RF to be far superior. It only requires dumbbells and a willingness to suffer.0
