getting used to a new, old body

Options
hey everyone. I'm making excellent progress in gaining some weight back. but its really being an adjustment. I love that my ribs aren't quite as visible now. but I guess I've been living with essentially an emaciated frame for so long that I look down at my body and I'm like, "oh...hi there. pleased to meet you!" in my head, I know that this is a return to health. but it's like meeting up with an old buddy you haven't seen since high school. where you know each other, but there's an air of unfamiliarity about the dyad. weird feeling....

What changed for you to be able to put on weight? I have a friend with an eating disorder and would love for her to get better.
