Go the gym at least 4 days a week.
Continue to lower my PR time for a 3 mile cycle.
Get stronger - no real number goal in mind, just in general.
Hope those are okay!0 -
Of course they are! - You make your own rules, thats the beauty of this
Good luck!0 -
sense i failed miserably with my July goals, lets try this again.
1. lose 5 pounds
2. do a cardio workout 3x a week
3. Do not drink more then 2 nights per week.
4. But seriously, DO NOT drink more than 2 nights per week =]0 -
1. Cycle 640km
2. Lose at least 4 pounds
Let's do this! :happy:0 -

*shy wave*
My goals:
- Get Medi-Cal figured out (for lots of reasons)
- Get a job so I can get better workout gear
- Get as close to 270lbs as possible
- Start working on strength training (as safely as I can until I get a trainer)
- Do more than just the elliptical at the gym
- Stop staying up late (even with my 2 foster kittens, it's unacceptable for me to have such a ridiculous sleep schedule)
- Start running (like C25K)
- Find a way to get the $$ to do the Color Run 5K (October) or Mud Run 5K (September)... or both
I could go on.0 -
*wave back
Great to have you join us BEquality, and great job on your successes last month :-)
Thought I'd post an update of how I am going so far this month...
I'm especially happy with my running at the moment, so far I have run 51.7km of my 130km goal
For swimming I have swum 7km of my 18km goal - I kept the same distance as for last month as I didn't quite make it last month
Loose 2kg is my final goal, so far not much movement on this front (lost 0.3kg) but I am doing everything right so it will only be a matter of time.
How are you all getting on?0 -
GOALS! YAY! I should get some of those.
+ Wash and wax my car... oh, wait. Wrong list.
Let's try this again.
+ Lose 6 lbs.
+ Increase my daily walk to 4 miles.
+ Climb the dreaded "yellow trail" at my local state park at least once a week.
+ Strengthen my lower abs. They're just pathetic. I try to tell people we're not related, but somehow no one believes me.0 -
reach my 10,000 steps daily!0
-
Not necessarily in order, but here are mine:
1. At least 30 minutes of cardio/ interval training per day.
2. Strength train at least 3 days per week.
3. Keep better track of my water intake, and increase it to ~2 liters per day.
4. Get as close to 10,000 steps per day as possible.
5. Cut down on 'grazing', or at least do better at tracking/ logging it.
6. Stretch hamstrings, glutes, and back EVERY DAY, NO EXCEPTIONS. (It helps with squats)0 -

Funny that0 -
I figure its time check in again...
9.5/18km swimming goal
89/130km running goal
1.9/2kg weight loss goal
Feeling pretty good with it all although I likely won't make my swimming goal again this month.
Hows everyone else getting on?0 -
Hi everyone :-)
How are you all getting on with your goals this month?
My latest update:
14.5/18km swimming goal
129.2/130km running goal (Nearly nearly there!)
0.9/2kg weight loss
Everything is going well but I seem to have managed to gain 1kg this last week. Annoying but I'm sure its nothing to worry about as I have been staying on track so probably just one of those natural fluctuations.
Looks like I might even reach my swimming goal this month, third time is the winner it seems.0 -
Hi everyone,
I seem to have become something of a solo poster on this thread. It would be great to hear back from others about how they got on in August.
I had mixed results...
My goals were
18km swim - I managed 14.5km
130km run - I managed 154km, this was my big success of the month, I have never had such high mileage!
2kg weight loss - I managed 2.2kg, while this was a success I feel a little disappointed as I was secretly hoping for at least 3kgs
What about you?
Did you knock it out of the park? Have mixed results? Not quite get there?
Whatever it was there is always next month, come join the September thread and start over0
