Qsymia

Is anyone taking Qsymia to aid in their weight loss? I'd like to hear how they're doing. I have a really good friend who also has PCOS who ended up doing the gastric sleeve last year and her results are amazing. Seeing her change her life made me look at myself, health and and address it. I saw my internist who referred me to a top specialist and after a lot of talking and reviewing my medical history (including the ability to lose weight while on a double blind PCOS medical 1500 calorie study) we decided to try the medication approach first (not to judge, but surgery is a last and drastic optional for me).
It's been two months, my side effects are nominal if any and the results are amazing. It certainly takes the edge off, I don't crave food, especially carbs, not even during PMS, I have not desire to eat a full meal and I've lost 20 pounds so far. I'm doing a 1500 calorie diet of pretty much the sames things I used to eat, just smaller portions, less carbs, and still mostly homemade if possible. As soon as I get past this crazy busy time at work (10+ work hour days) and start back at the gym, I'm curious how the added exercise with change me.

I had considered the medication, but none of my doctors would do a script for it, however because i ended up being diagnosed with RA, it ended up with the gastric sleeve. wouldn't change it for the world, but for those who struggle to lose weight they will do all they can in order to at least lose something. for me i was at my last resort.
