Question about severe leg cramps

I am in need of some advice please! I am in my third year running, have finished 6 half marathons and now in training for my first full in Oct. My issue is, severe leg cramps after about 10 miles. When I do a half, it's doable to run another 3.1, but I will never make it to 26.2 like this. Daily I measure out my water, 64 oz a day, and I feel like I am non stop peeing. ( no not diabetic ) I had to start measuring water, because i really don't thirst all that much. My urine is clear throughout the days. I had a half marathon today, took a salt cap every 30 minutes, drank 60oz of water throughout race, and used cliff shot blocks. I was in tears and in so much pain after mile 10 again. Came home and urine was almost brown. I eat really well, and have even taken suggestions on eating a little more salt on my foods a few days before. Before trying the salt tabs I was using nuun tabs in water. That wasn't working, and so many suggested salt tabs. Am I doing something wrong? I don't know how I can do 15 miles next Saturday? Any advice would be appreciated! TIA

I would be doubling over in the medical tent if I drank all that water/fluid during a run. I'm sure someone can word it more eloquently, but you're drinking a freaking insane amount of water. Why???0

I read that you should be drinking about 20 oz of fluid every hour. Today in Ohio it was extremely humid, and I ran for over 2 1/2 hours. People keep saying if my urine is brown, that is dehydration. I have come home and have been non stop drinking fluids, since I am so thirsty now. Urine is back to normal. I am so confused.0

um yeah...way too much water! I have notice that since I started taking slo-mag, my calves are much less twitchy. Whether this translates to not getting cramps in the late miles of a marathon is to be determined.
Anyway, the usual recommendation is to drink only when thirsty. You may want to give that a shot.0 -

Yo, I run in Ohio (Dayton) pretty much every single day and do 5-15 on a single cup of coffee or a swig of water and then drink throughout the day, but nothing disciplined like you. Seriously, you are drinking wayyyyyy too much. This isn't the Badwater 135 lol0 -
Humans have one of the most efficient cooling systems in the animal world. But, it's achilles heel is humidity. Sweat that doesn't evaporate (thereby cooling us) causes us to heat up. It does seem very strange that you are having brown urine with all that water. Perhaps some medical attention is warranted.0

In any event, the humidity in Central Ohio has been in the upper 80s in the mornings. Ridiculous.0 -

No it should not be. I would go to the doctor and make sure their is not blood in your urine. In all seriousness it could be a tumor in your bladder. The blood vessels in tumors are thin and the jarring effect of running can cause them to bleed.0 -
Low magnesium can cause muscle cramps... I experienced calf cramps in the past and magnesium supplements got rid of the problem...

Check your salt caps you are taking, they might already have magnesium in them. Also, why are you taking them every 30 minutes? The salt caps every 30 minutes + the cliff shot blocks might be too much sodium, you might want to add up the numbers to see what your intake was. This wouldn't be the cause of the cramping but could explain why you have been thirsty all day.0

It was a recommendation form a running store to take them every 30. So confused by this whole electrolyte hydration thing. No problems running short distances.0
