"Spend time with Me for the pure pleasure of being in My company. I can brighten up the dullest of gray days; I can add sparkle to the routines of daily life. You have to repeat to many tasks day after day. This monotony can dull your thinking until you mind slips into neutral. A mind that is unfocused is vulnerable to "the world, the flesh, and the devil," all of which exert a downward pull on your thoughts. As your thinking processes deteriorate, you become increasingly confused and directionless. The best remedy is to refocus your mind and heart on Me, your constant Companion.

Even the most confusing day opens up before you as you go step by step with Me. My Presence goes with you wherever you go, providing Light for your path.

Ps 63:7-8; Ps 119:105"

How can I relate this to my weight loss journey?

Boy the next biggest emotion I find myself turning to food is when I am bored. This is when I need to seek God to be in His company. Because once I am in that bored state and got the thought of food in my mind it is so hard to resist. But I can resist it with God.

"Good Morning Father, Thank you for walking this journey with me. You are great and wonderful. Please help me with today. When I am bored bring me back to this. For you are my God and King. I love you so much. In Jesus Name, Amen."

I totally agree wether I'm bored, angry or just plain being greedy. I turn to food which has been my issue with dieting. I have the tendency to overthink many situations that if I would just allow God to come in and remove my own self-doubt it would make for me not having so much time to overthink the process of life. I have to have faith that God will remove the stressors from my life and I also need to have faith that once I've given my issue or stress to God that I not dwell on it anymore.

"A mind that is unfocused" .... I think tomarrow I will write out some promises I can grab and read when my mind wanders where it shouldn't. I made it to gym tonight, I thanked Him for it, thanked him for strength, thanked him for the victory I already have in Him. This is not the state of my mind about exersize uasually, but I want it to be.
