Tips and tricks for surviving a Whole30

Anyone else attempting this for the second (or 5th) time? What worked for you the first (or first through 5th) time through - in terms of time saving in the kitchen, avoiding off plan foods, kicking late night cravings, etc?
I'll add more to this thread as September goes on, but I'll say now that my slow cooker has been a lifesaver. Throw stuff in it in the morning, and you have a healthy meal ready when you step in the door after work. There are TONS of Whole30 compliant slow cooker recipes online.

My downfall is trying to decide what to eat. I find a few things that I like and stick to them. It just makes life so much easier, and less likely to deplete will power.0

I did it once like 3 years ago ... don't remember any ground-breaking insights I had, other than pre-planning/pre-cooking being essential.
Been fighting my sweet tooth hard, so hoping this Whole30 in a couple weeks will firm up my discipline before the holidays.0
