I am a newbie to Crossfit and am yet to attend a class at the box will be doing that next Saturday (free demo) to learn good form and get my basics right after that I plan on a class per week or maybe one every two weeks. Right now crossfit is just too expensive for me though I'll see how it goes as we progress.
I am planning to start my workouts at home and these are the equipments I have
1. Jump rope
2. Pullup Bar
3. Dumbbells weighing 5Kg(12lbs), 3Kg(7lbs) and 1kgs (2lbs)
4. Medicine ball (3Kgs-to be bought/made)

I plan on doing mostly body weight exercises and maybe buy equipment as I go along. I have previously worked out with Insanity and 30DS and though I saw results I am really excited to try crossfit. I plan to work out 4 days a week and plan for my first week is
Day 1
4 sets
20 Jump Rope Singles
20 Pushups
20 Situps
20 squats
20 Lunges

Day 2
4 sets
20 burpees
5 pullups (strict assisted)

Day 3
4 Sets (20 each)
weighted squats
front squats
overhead walking lunge
dips

Day 4
100 Jump rope singles 100 burpees

What do you think about this and any suggestions are welcome.

All good solid workouts. I'd suggest timing yourself to give yourself some markers as to how you are improving.

The coaches at my box developed an awesome app that allows you to enter the equipment you have and it will program something like 30-60 different WODs for you based on that equipment. It's called WODs on the Road. Highly recommend it!
