This challenge is for Week 2. Sunday, September 14 - Saturday, September 20.
Challenge:
- Burn an average of 300 calories per day in exercise if your chosen NFL team wins.
- If your NFL team loses, you will need to burn an average of 350 calories per day.
This doesn't mean you need to exercise every day, although it would make it easier. You will win this week if you burn a total of either 2100 calories or 2450 calories by exercising between 9/14-9/20.
Good luck everyone!

Awesome idea for a weight loss challenge! Thanks for organizing the group. I'm a little late to join for week 1, but I'm on board for the week 2 challenge

Love this idea! This will be fun.

Love this! Really hoping I end up only needing to burn the 2100 because the Colts reallllly need a W.0

When I explained this group to my son, and talked about how there would be extra challenges if your team lost, he started laughing and said, "You are going to be BUFF at the end of the season!"
Such is the lot of the Vikings' fan...0 -
Courtesy of flag fest last night, looks like I get to burn off 2450 calories. You know the penalty flags are bad when the announcers start complaining.0
-
*sigh* my team lost too.0

2450 for me too...0
-
It was a stressful game, but my team won! 2100 for me.0
-
Ugh Colts. 2450 for me...0

I think I am going to have to pull a loss for this week! yikes .. I don't know if I can get that many calories burned in.0

I have been up since 3AM with a sick, little peanut. I did NOT want to exercise today. I asked my husband to threaten me with divorce if I didn't get my workout in (he laughed ~ he is used to my kind of crazy). I wasted a bunch of time in the forums, whined about being tired a bunch more...
And then I worked out: the full 55 minutes, plus the squats for my squat challenge. And I am glad I decided to spend that hour exercising instead of complaining about how I couldn't possibly get through a workout today. A month ago, exercise was a foreign concept to me, now I do it 6 days a week. Crazy how things change.
But, I think my competitive spirit prompted today, too. Because the Vikings lost (Whaaaaaat? Inconceivable!! ) I have to average 350 calories burned per day. If the Vikings can't post a win, at least I might be able to eek one out!
Hope everyone is having a great week!0 -
I hit the 2450 mark yesterday and I still have today and tomorrow yet.0
