    I've been bingeing on Type O Negative and Woods of Ypres for a few weeks now.

    Been listening to some Type O Negative, but mainly Woods of Ypres. There are far worse things to binge on :wink:

    But not happy music, well, the actual music itself or the fact that the world is that much poorer without Pete Steele and David Gold.

    The new Opeth album, Pale Communion

    What to you think of it? I hate the beginning minute of the album, but really enjoying the rest. I will always miss his death meal vox, but they still put out excellent music (apart from Heritage), so can't complain...

    I honestly haven't given the new YOB a decent listen yet. I distinctly remember buying it and would have listened to it at work probably, which is why I don't really remember it. Sometimes I get in the zone when I'm programming and the music just becomes white noise. Now that you reminded me of it, I definitely want to give it another listen.

    I listen to a lot of music like that, kind of in the background until it seeps into my consciousness. I work in a very noisy area so music just blocks out all distractions and I don't concentrate on it necessarily, it's just there.

    Just got the new Arctic Sleep. It's pretty okay so far. Nothing amazing yet (halfway through the cd), but worth a listen.
