Hi team,
I intend to start a new topic every day titled with Day # and date. I will request not to start a new topic but to carry on your conversation within the day topic. You are encouraged to share your goals, excitements, concerns, disappointments, brags, or whatever you think aligns with the interest of the group.
My Day-Goals:
1. Stay with in my calories limit.
2. Walk for at least 60 minutes.
3. Get the spreadsheet sorted and running.
4. Shop for my 3 days salad supplies

Started off the day right with a good workout at the gym. Followed up with an hour long hike with husband and our two dogs. Lots of hills...not used to that...so a good workout. Dogs are sprawled out across the floor. YAY! We just need to do this everyday so I can meet my goal by 12/31.
Glad to be a part of this group and hope to break through this plateau I'm on. :flowerforyou:0 -
Added my name to the spreadsheet. My goal for today is to get in all my water. This is a challenge as the day is almost over and I am only 25% in...need to drink a lot more!0

Thanks for the invite to the group.
I will try as much as i can have a bit of a cold at the moment not so sure how long it will last for, but will do as much as i can before the year is out. Tomorrow is day 1 ? right 23/9.0 -
I stayed within caloric range and got 7,000 steps in. Going to try for 10,000 at work tomoro!!0

I did P90x3 - Isometrix - (It's all those difficult yoga moves for 30 minutes)
I did 25 minutes lifting - Glamour Muscles (Arms) haha
i did 1 mile trail running. My new shoes are still in the trail stage. I never have luck with new shoes.

Hello Everyone!
I have a darn cold, too, foomsy, that I started the day with. I decided to get my morning exercise in anyway and played pickle-ball (I know, I know....good thing you can google it!) for a couple of hours. I was hoping it might knock the cold out before it got much of a start, but no such luck! :ohwell:
I stayed under calories for the day, so I feel good about that! Not sure how much calorie burn I'll get while this cold sucks my energy, but, even so, will try to stay under cals for the duration!
I'll try to remember to record my beginning weight for Day 1 and I wish us all the best of luck in meeting our goals in this challenge! :flowerforyou:0 -
My overall goal besides losing weight of course is to remain active and keep a balanced diet. I have gained and lost the same 55lbs for years. I am currently on the losing side of those 55lbs and would like to keep it that way. I hope the challenge and the post will keep me motivated.

My day is halfway through. I think I might be a day ahead as in New Zealand? I got up and worked out and so far have stayed within my calorie goal. AM tracking my food and drinking my water. Looking to finish the day off strong0

DANIEL PLAN life style:
Faith: Spending quiet time and sharing the word to friends.
Focus: Think of something to be grateful for daily.
Food: No refined. No Processed. Limit sugar. No soda. All natural. Food calorie allowance 1,300 per day gross. Low Carbs (avoid grains) and High Healthy Fats.
Fitness: Work out 5 to 6 days a week for an hour.
Friends: Be with friends and family that encourage each other to reach or healthy goals.0 -
calorie goal: 1200-1400cal, completed =1196 cal
h20 goal: 12 cups, completed=12 cups
exercise goal: 60 min, completed= 60 min kickboxing at gym

I did stay within calorie goal and got in an hour walk. Will have to log into spreadsheet from work computer tomorrow if possible0

Day 0 - finally was able to access the spreadsheet after being blocked at work. Was a little over my daily calorie range by 8 calories but was pleased that I was under 1400 calories for the day, Got in my 9 cups of water today. Tomorrow's focus will be on getting in my exercise and staying with in my calorie range. So looking forward to this challenge!0

Did a fast day today (5:2 program), had 12 cups of water, 4 cups of vegetable broth, 2 cups of green tea, and a 500 kcal meal. Did my 30DS Lvl. 2 workout and feeling great

Daily goals:
1. Log everything I eat - EVEN IF I go over!
2. Drink a minimum of 60 oz of eater a day (to increase as I regularly hit this goal).
3. Walk a minimum of 5k steps per day (to increase)
Long term goals:
Begin C25k.
Preplan meals, grocery lists and prep food ahead of time for the week to take out the guess work.
Regular morning dog walk
Got my food logged and my water intake but not my steps. Planned on getting a walk in after dinner but have had a blasted headache since I left work this afternoon. Still going to start pushing for that early morning walk with the dog before getting ready for work. I always feel great on days that I do it but it is so hard because I am not a morning person....!
I am grateful for this group. I have been a team leader for a challenge group for about 6 or more months now and it is nice to sit back a bit and let someone else run things while I just work on re-gaining my focus!!

Wooo hoo, had a healthy tasty dinner within my calorie limits, did my trampolinging, going for a walk. drank my water limit, It's been a good day!0

Another great day where I stayed away from binging on chocolate, have picked up more supplies for tomorrow for healthy snacks at work. Began my day with a bike ride as usual, only did 30 minutes which is my minimum, got over 11000 in steps. Now to add some more whilst I do my ironing.0
