New Fitbits on the horizon

I am not a very patient person when it comes to waiting so failure to get any indication from Fitbit as to information on the release of a new tracker to replace the Force has been frustrating. Meanwhile I have bought and returned several trackers because they fail to live up to expectations. A recent Google to find Fitbit information, though, netted these articles. An actual release date has still not been announced but this gives me hope. The features also sound worth waiting for (patience, patience)

I was holding out on a Force replacement too but after many months I caved and got a Fitbit Flex. The main reason I wanted the Force over the Flex was the time. It isn't so great wearing a watch on the same wrist as my Flex but I've gotten used to it for the most part.

I have a One but my husband was not happy with existing Fitbit options. Got a Polar Loop a few weeks ago and is very happy with it. If I didn't have a One, I'd be tempted - though I'm still not big on the wrist-option.

I love my One. The bracelet trackers are tacky. I like a tracker I can hide under my clothes.

I love my one because I can stick it on my bra and forget about it at work, I don't want anything with an armband walking around work. It took me some time to adjust with the One, but MFP and one are getting pretty close now.

I would love a new generation of One, it would be nice not to have to use One plus an HRM with a chest strap, but right now I have to. I am waiting for the device that gives me both and doesn't have to be worn on my wrist. It could have a soft chest strap to wear, that I could deal with, something that you can hide...I don't need to "advertise".

I had the Ultra, which I guess is like the One. It fell off my bra a few times and I almost lost it. I have the Flex with different colored bands, I swap out all of the time. I do wear watches on the same wrist and I am OK with it. I just buy skinny watches, LOL! But I find that I can check the time with my cell phone, computer, etc as well. I think eventually I may upgrade to a Smart Watch (I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and will most likely just upgrade to S5 end of this year when my contract is up.) but I am waiting for the prices of them to come down and to see what new options come out.

Yeah but will they sync with Apple Healthkit? Doesn't sound like it. Not even worth considering in my opinion.

I like my fitbit one plus I've just bought a running watch so don't need those feature and I can't wear anything on my wrist while at work.

My ideal scenario would be the fucntionality of the One, built into a strap with a proper disply (like the Force had) with HRM built in. I love my One but I would upgrade in a heartbeat (no pun intended) if such a device was to come out.
