Well i have managed to set goals now for 3 days, however, the weekends are always hard for me to come on so I figured i would do my goals for today and this weekend.
10/3
Stay within calorie limits
Drink at least a gallon of water
No soda
Walk at least 30 mins
10/4
have a good breakfast
Go for a run
play with the kids
clean the house
clean up the yard
10/5
Drink lots of water
go for a walk (we are in parade for my son and his daycare)
Go food shopping
Stay withing calorie limits
Hope everyone has a great day and weekend. I plan on spending time with my family and getting stuff ready for this winter and when my soon to be hubby will be gone for a year.

I need to:
Mow the yard
Finish gathering up items for AmVets pickup
Sweep/mop the kitchen floor
Mall walk with my teenagers
Help Terry clear the floor of junk in his room
And do all this while staying within calories! I have no troubles with drinking my water, just the snacking...0 -
I love the idea of including the weekend with Friday's goals.
Today my shoulder is really sore for some reason. My goals:
(1) Commute by bike to work (morning done, despite rain)
(2) Stay within my calories (of course) and focus on macros with work lunch from currently unknown place
(3) Go to the gym and do some sort of additional exercise
(4) Meditate/journaling
(5) I know it's Friday, but go to bed at a reasonable hour and try to get a good night's sleep
Weekend:
(1) Saturday long run
(2) Sunday long bike
(3) Saturday green market, buy pumpkin
(4) consider trying basics yoga class at yoga studio near my house
(5) plan ahead for dinner out on Saturday
(6) clean out closet (get rid of clothes that are too small and decide what I want to keep of old clothes I haven't worn in a while) and declutter in general.
(7) get halfway decent coat that fits0 -
This weekend-mindset for goals makes sense to me too, even though I am just now seeing this late-ish on Friday night. Guess I haven't been online since very early this morning. Hey. that's good!
Managed to stay within calories and have a semi-active day.
This weekend I promise myself I will:
bike at least 120 minutes total (Sat and Sun)
tend my garden and plant my kale and carrot seeds
drink at least a gallon of water each day
make homemade vegetable soup (cleaning produce out of fridge - especially the homegrown stuff) and bake cornbread
clean my house thoroughly!
rehearse my lines supremely and organize costume elements - first fittings this Sunday!
We're slated to have a picture perfect weekend here. Hope you will have one too!0 -
Saturday:
- trink lots of tea
- rest
- get rid of the freaking sniffles
- read the new "vegan baking magazine" I bought
Sunday:
- based on my sniffle-status
- go on a walk again to get some fresh air, if I feel alright0 -
Today I went for a walk and it felt great out!
I also want to drink plenty of water.
Going out with the ladies so I will try not to drink much alcohol.
I plan on stretching at least three times.
Abs routine-crunches, leg lifts, plank, v-ups, sit ups.
Sunday:
I want to stretch go for a walk
Do my abs work out routine
Do some youtube one minute work outs with Shaun T
Stretch again
Drink plenty of water
Get laundry done
Go to the grocery store and buy healthy
Go for a walk before bed and stretch again.0 -
I really like the idea of doing weekend goals too! I work on Sat and Sundays so for me its when I try to hunker down and re-focus after giving myself a little slack on Thurs/Fri (my actual weekend).0
