Fitbit and C25K?

SO I have re-started C25K, and it syncs with MFP. But so does Fitbit. My issue is whether Fitbit really registers more calories for running minutes, when I am sweating my *kitten* off and clearly working, or whether I should go with the reading C25K gives? I know doubling up and including both will be over-estimating. What do people think about this?

If you are concerned about it you could just take the Fitbit off when you are doing the C25K. You'd lose the total steps for the day that FB would otherwise have recorded. Personally I think all of these are guesses by the software so either is likely to be closer (or further) from the real measure. For my own C25K program I wear a HRM and link it to the Digifit app which seems pretty accurate when used with a HRM. I leave the Fitbit on but have Digifit and FB linked in MyFitnessPal and MFP sorts out the correct amount of calories.

Have you ever looked at the Fitbit dashboard at miles, steps, and calories, right before and after the C25K data comes across and changes it?
There is no doubling, but indeed if your stride length is off, Fitbit could have incorrect data being replaced by more correct data - but it's all lower.
Or Fitbit is more correct possibly.
They actually use very similar formulas for calories burned for pace, mass, and time. That's all that matters.
Fitbit uses steps to decide distance and therefore pace, the other app may use GPS.
