and I know it.... and I am doing it anyway!!! For the past week I have been eating SO well-- adding veggies, lowering my intake of artificial sweeteners, getting to the gym more.... and what happens? I am UP three pounds!! I know all of the reasons why this could have happened-- and I know it is just a few pounds, but darn it-- I want to see a LOSS for all of my efforts. I am bustin my @ss here!!!

In addition, I am reminded that these "extra" things I am doing really need to become my "normal" and if I am honest, I am kind of resentful about that too. Silly to be resentful of doing the things that are best for my health, but that is what I am feeling. Silly or not. Hmmph! :s

We've all been there! It is hard to walk away from the scale, but not a bad idea to limit weighing to once per week. Good luck

I hear you! I have been working out, eating right and the scale just doesn't budge. I know it can't last! I know I am building muscle. The scale is not the only tool, I take measurements weekly and found I lost an inch in waist, hip and thigh. At the gym last night I was looking in the mirror before class and I thought the mirror was making me look slimmer and thought it was a trick mirror until my husband stood beside me, he looked the same. So there you go, the mirror, the tape measure are my measurements this week. My clothes are loose and I feel good, Scale will catch up.
