Favourite Flavour of Natures Best Isopure Zero

Hi Everyone, the GNC store here in my Canadian city doesn't carry Isopure. They do have a similar product called Protein Ice (42g Protein, 190 calories and 220 mg of Potassium, the bottle is 20 oz. and comes in different fruit flavors).
I have a friend who is going to Grand Forks, ND and is going to pick me up a case of Isopure. So I am putting out the question, "what was your favorite flavor of Isopure." Just by their names my first choice would be the variety pack, then Icy Orange and then Coconut.
I'd appreciate your feedback on what your favorite flavor was if you used it in early recovery.
Also, do you think 1 case is enough or do you think I should ask him to bring me 2?
I did pick up two similar powders here in Canada that are fruit flavored and contain about 30 grams of protein so I don't want to buy any more Isopure or Protein Ice than I have to, as they are both quite costly at about $5.00 a bottle.
I'd appreciate your feedback and input.
Thanks my friends.

I would have to say variety if you can get it, maybe alpine punch (like red punch)? Flavor preference is so individual but I think if you do variety you won't be stuck with one that you get tired of. It sounds like you have some powders and the rtd isopure is pretty costly, so, maybe just one case? Isopure does make powders of some fruity flavors. If you find a rtd you like you can order the powder sent to you and the shipping won't be as bad as with glass bottles of rtd. Just some suggestions, good luck with everything!0

I found the Green (sour apple) and Blue (blue rasberry) were the best.0

I like the green apple best. It tastes just like jolly rancher sour apple candy. It can be a bit too sweet, though.0

I don't want to be the Voice of Doom here, but I think Isopure is disgusting. Don't get one bottle or container of powder more than you need. Drinking it felt like punishment to me. I keep hoping I'll run into a pre-surgery patient in my area I can pass off my supply to. Soon enough you'll be through that phase.0

I liked the green apple the best, then the blue raspberry, but by the end of the two weeks that I had to be on clear liquids, I never wanted to see the stuff again!0

I love Isopure, I have Double Dutch Chocolate powder, and have tried the bottles, Icy Orange, Coconut, and Grape Frost. The DDC is great with soymilk. I just use one scoop, or I mix it with water and it's still good. Thanks for asking this question. I have to pick up a case this week so i'll probably be trying a different flavor mentioned above.0

I love isopure! My favorite flavors are Icy Orange, Pineapple Orange Banana, and Alpine Punch. The key is to water it down, otherwise it is way too potent. I usually do half and half, so a bottle will last me 2 days. I am 6 weeks post op and I still drink it every day, either for breakfast or before bed. I got burnt out on protein shakes super quick, but the watered down isopure tastes like a light juice.0

The Pineapple Orange Banana is my favorite. After the surgery I didn't like too sweet and this one to me isn't too sweet.0

Thank you for all of your comments, suggestions and feedback. Hopefully my friend can find it and bring it over the Canada/USA Border. We have a GNC here in my Canadian city but for some reason they don't carry Isopure ready to drink protein drinks.0

Maybe you should find out before your friend goes and buys it to make sure it can be taken across the border, that would be a financial loss to everyone otherwise!0

Good idea but I don't know how I could find that out. They are leaving tomorrow.
Thanks for the advice my friend.0 -
What about trying to look in your local phone book under "government"
Or call some official sounding people/business and try to track a # down that way.
Can you do a online search...Id help you but Im not sure what customs border your friend would be crossing!
My Dad worked for our side of the customs border in WA going into British Columbia.0 -
My friend will cross the USA/Canada border at Pembina, North Dakota.
I don't anticipate there will be a problem bringing back the Isopure but I shall soon find out. I'll let you know when I hear he has brought it home. Thanks for the tip.0
