What range of A1C results is considered "high normal"? I tried googling but didn't find a clear answer.

    Not sure. Hope you find the answers you're looking for. I think it depends on the individual though. What's considered a "high normal" for you may not be the case for someone else. Good luck.

    6.7 is the best, >10 is BAD

    I'm an eye doctor and we look at the HbA1c in diabetics as a marker for diabetic complications in the eye

    I'm pretty sure 6.7 is only considered good for a Diabetic who was previously not in control. All the sources I'm finding say 4-6 is the ideal range, with low 4s being optimal.

    Yeah, from what I read 5.8 is where "prediabetes" range starts.
    Mine was 5.4. I wasn't sure if that would be "high normal" or not.
    Low 4's seems super low! I will keep working. :)

    Yeah, I thought the same thing re: 4s. That equates to something like low 70s to high 60s mg/dl in the charts I found. Considering danger levels are sub-50, that strikes me as really low. Thankfully, that's the low end of the range, so even high 4s and low 5s would be considered good.
