I am only two days away from having my surgery and I am finally getting excited! After dealing with this grueling liquid diet for the past two weeks and the months of preparation I am so ready to have my surgery. I am down fifty pounds now from where I started and I already feel so much better so I am looking forward to shedding the rest of this weight. I think it's so weird but I have already noticed a difference socially to as well. For example I work in a prison and people will actually come ask me questions and look me in the eye. I have also noticed that I feel more comfortable around people and actually want to be more social. For the longest time I felt like I had lost who I was somewhere in the chaos of being a mom, a full time student, and a full time employee, however I feel like I am slowly gaining back a part of me that I have missed for so long-The Happy Part. Thank you all for being a great support system and allowing me the blessing of seeing your encouraging progress can't wait to share mine!
