Yogaga Round 2 (AKA the bulk that never ended)

Hey there! I haven't been around much the past few months. A bunch of new faces!
I participated in a bulk journal this time last year when the group had just launched. Made some solid gains and then left to begin my cut. Cut didn't last long…gave up and moved to maintain and then slowly (see: unintentionally) started bulking again with the cold weather. I am now up to 137 (reached 139 once on my last bulk but seemed to even out around 135 after water weight settled) and feeling goooooood!
My mindset about food, extra weight and the preferred size of my body has drastically changed over the last year. I was very nervous during my first bulk. The intention was to gain weight but I had several HOLY *kitten* I AM FAT moments that I can now look back at and laugh about. I didn't realize how frail and tiny I was this time last year. I am L-O-V-I-N-G the new "filled out" me this time around.
I'm just wrapping up the Advanced Strong Curves program. Took a break from Madcow after running a few rounds but I think I will be heading back to it once I knock out this booty growing trip I am currently on. Gotta play around with the calories now that cardio season is slowing down for me, but once I find that sweet spot- I'm golden! No weight goal this time. Just gonna go for it until February 1st.
Anyway, Hello to all! Looking forward to stuffing my face and lifting all the things with you guys!

Hey yogaga! How are you liking the SC advanced program? I am doing Gorgeous glutes right now at week 7. My booty is being stubborn, it is a very slow process, at least for me. It is like watching paint dry!
Anyways, looking forward to following your journey on here!0 -
Hello yogaga1!
That's some killer legs you have! I am on my 1st bulk, started this Sept and gain about 4 lbs so far. I am also doing Advanced Strong Curves program, I am on my 3rd week. I think I start seeing some booty now... and I can really feel them after the work out.
I too had a lot " Oh, no, I am getting FAT" moments and questioned if bulking was the right thing to do. I am better now ( I think the weather helps, I just couldn't stop eating! so, WTH, let me just put some weight on )
I plan to bulk until next spring around February and I will start cutting or recomp, depends on how I feel then.
Glad to see you here and looking forward to follow your journey!0 -
Sardelsa- I actually really like this program. I'm not going to lie…I put this program off for a long time because I was concerned my upper body strength would fall behind, but I am seeing great gains all around! With that said, it's always a "watching paint dry" situation for me as well. So, while I don't see a huge change aesthetically, my lifts have shot through the roof. Yahoo!!
Funfang- Only in my dreams do my legs looked anything like my profile pic. That's just some random pic I saw somewhere on the internet the day I made my profile here. Ha! Cut about 6 inches off those long legs and that's more like it! Look forward to bulking with you until Spring!!0 -
Good to see you back
I start again on dec 1st, I'm also just getting around to doing the strong curves programme (after having the book for ages) - really enjoying it so far. Think there's a few of us all bulking to Bret =D0 -
Welcome back! I'm also on my 2nd bulk and looking to make some glute progress. There's definitely some 'feeling fat' days here and there, but overall my mindset has changed dramatically- gotta put on some more mass!0
