Help Needed

Good morning ladies and gents!!
I know I have been on and off, tracking and not tracking, tracking on paper for my nutritionist. I have for the most part tried my best at keeping up with the post/threads and please know, even when I don't respond.. I am keeping each and every one of you close to my heart.
I have been slightly irritable lately. Mostly because of work. I have been bogged down with appointments this month for the Weight Loss Surgery I plan on having in Jan or Feb of 2015. I cannot wait for it to get here. I need this weight off of me. I feel like I am dying a slow death each and every day.
So here is where I need the help. PLEASE hold me accountable. If you see I'm not here, call me out on it. Put me on blast. Just please hold me accountable. My next and final WLS appointment with the nutritionist is Dec 31st. I need to lose about 10 lbs between now and then. That's going to be hard with Thanksgiving and Christmas in there. But, I have to do it. To prove to them and myself that I can do this and have the determination to do this also. Any words of advice or encouragement are much needed and appreciated at this point.

I don't know what to say. I wish I could help sincerely. But I'll be honest - you haven't seen me creating daily posts and such for a bit because I am so overwhelmed in my own work and personal lives right now. I'm slowly losing it. Last night was one of the first times I'd slept decently in a week. I will say that I will check in any time I think of it.
Something I would suggest, though. I have a friend running a challenge for the holidays. Weigh in is Friday or Monday, I think. It is just an accountability, check in thing, with some support, etc. No hard core harassment or anything. I'll try to find the link. Her name is NyteMirage if I remember right. You can tell her I sent you if you find the group... It's called New Year Challenge or Start the Year off Right...something. I don't remember.
And read. Read anyone and everyone's blogs. Maoribadger's blogs are great. I like rereading mine when I struggle. Yoovie has some brilliant ones. And go look at some of the popular ones. Some of their other writings (not the one initially flagged) resound with me more than the ones others like... I have to read. And think. Then I write. That is my method... I don't know yours.

P.S. Is walking your deal right now? Are there any other things you can add? I am doing wall pushups, short form squats, and attempting planks (SO HARD!!!)... Just a thought that some things can be added. Like I try to get up and take 100 steps in place every hour I'm at work... Just little changes. HUGS!0 -

Let me know what I can do. Helping others helps me stay on target, too. I'm far more accountable in my commitment to helping others. LOL Ironic, no?0

Hey Ladies, today is OK. I tracked every morsel I ate and overate yesterday. I ate 2700-2800 calories. But they're tracked. So I move on.
Carly, they're no specific thing I can think of. I just need to be here daily and log and write. It's the only way I am going to prove to both myself and my insurance company that I can and will do this and be successful.
I am going out to dinner at an Uberly expensive pizza joint tonight. I think I'll get a slice and a salad to stay on track. This is so much harder than it truly should be. Changing lifestyles (as I refuse to call this a diet) and exercise should not be so darn hard.
I truly appreciate you ladies checking on me today!!

How was your dinner? I am still in the midst of changing my lifestyle and everyone trying to make such a huge change is going to have setbacks. The important thing is to get right back at it.0

Cari.. all I can say to you is keep our eye on the prize. The prize is WLS which for me has been amazing. Only 25lbs so far but not in active weight loss phase yet and so much is better for me. You can do this.. eye on the prize everytime you want to over indulge.. eye on the prize Cari.0

Cari, if this was easy, no one on this planet would be overweight. If it was easy, you wouldn't ever have any failures. Because this is so very important, it is hard. We value the things for which we must fight. If we are handed things, it is very difficult to value them to the same extent as if your worked your tail feathers off for months and years to achieve the same things... Try to look at this as an investment in yourself. As your sense of self grows, so will your accomplishments and your belief that you CAN do this...
