What a beautiful day this morning. I had an 8 episode binge of 'The Blacklist' yesterday. May watch few more episodes today. James Spader is awesome.

I am getting back to one thing that I used to do before and had been very helpful. That is to weigh every morning and update my progress. Sometimes you need to ask the numerical mirror every 24 hours.

    Hello everyone, I hope you all scored big on Black Friday. Those of you who work retail, I hope you still have functioning bodies :))
    Yesterday I was over by 500 calories, because Thanksgiving doesn't end until all leftovers are gone. That key lime pie was awesome and I couldn't be happier that it's all gone now.
    Time to get back in the game: we are two days away from the 7'th milestone and I really hope the best for all of us.
    I was very tempted to get in the gym today but reason got the best of me. When eating something that doesn't agree with our stomack ( grains, in my case) the deep abdominal muscles take a break and shut themselves down. It's normaly not a big deal;!except, if your lifting heavy with compound moves (squats and deadlifts). Without the help of the deep abdominal muscles, your back will have to take all the load and let's just say it's not pretty or painless.
    So for today, I plan on drinking lots water, move slowly and allow my body to do its thing and digest all the food I stuffes for the last 2 days.

    Beautiful sunny day here but bitter cold, wind chills in the -30's but doing a 5k fun run this afternoon. Did 45 mins of shovelling earlier. My horrible food day yesterday reflected a 2 lb gain but since lunch was so salty I will blame water retention and it should disappear in a few days but not likely in time for Monday's check in

    Yeah, I Thursday and Friday were definitely cheat days for me. But I am back on track today. Did some walking and am well within my cals. Staying positive and not looking back.
