Supposed to be a rain/snow mix here this evening. :(

Hit my goals yesterday, even though I was crunched for time and went out with friends. Today will be a challenge and I'm not sure how to tackle it. It's my company holiday party (which is a BIG deal). I think I'm just going to eat light at lunch and then try to eat "reasonable" amounts tonight without tracking.

My bigger issue is that there is no time for my workout tonight. I really want to stick to my schedule, but I guess I'm just going to have to skip it.

    Goals for today:
    1. Do not gorge yourself at the holiday party tonight!!
    2. 10,000 steps
    3. Try not to feel guilty about skipping workout. Missing one is not the end of the world.

So glad to hear from you Balancedwalker!

I know it's funny, but for me, when squats are great, the rest just seems to fall in place. I guess it's because the iron never lies :)
Squats were good yesterday, therefore yesterday was a good day!
    Have a fabulous day everyone!!!

    Happy Friday Everyone!!!!
Haven't made a post to the group in a while, Yesterday was good for both intake and workout.
I am having a hard time with my sleep and this winter weather... I need to get back into a better pattern.
Today and tomorrow my goals are to get my workouts in, get over 10,000 steps and only eat what is allotted on Saturday (company Christmas party).
Hope you all have an awesome day!

Had a very successful day yesterday and the scale was right where it should be according to my plan. This morning I did my DVD, will move to level 2 of the 30 Day Shed next workout, and then did 5k on the treadmill so my workouts were in for the day before work. The remainder of the day is stay on point with food, so far so good as long as I don't blow it when I get home this evening. That's when I tend to overeat. Main goal is to stay focused over the weekend and not gain my typical weekend pound.
    Happy Friday everyone! :)

TGIF and all that. I read how some of us try and stay focused on weekends. I think that is a big part of why I set Monday as my officially “recorded” weigh-in day. I weigh myself a few times a week and especially on Friday (but only "record Mondays" – that way I know where I am headed). If I haven’t lost what I thought…I use that as incentive to not blow the weekend. By the same token, it sometimes means a little extra treat…:)

    Have a GREAT WEEKEND!

Seems that as the weather gets colder the less I feel like moving. My goal for today and everyday that is cold is to stay active. I am not quite were I want to be on my weight, but I am getting there. Went out and bought to new scrub pants and shirts. Went from a 2x and 1x to large. Now all I have to do is hem them and I am all set.Hope everybody has a great Friday and weekend.

Had a pretty good week, with regular running every other day.
It's getting cold and running at night after work requires extra motivation.
But it's definately worth it. Keeping focused on the next race right after xmas.
Yesterday was a burn-near-400cal day so I treated myself to a "raclette" :)
    Have a nice week-end everyone.
