And resolutely unapologetic for it

I made a 7 hour round trip today to see my nan. And I think its the last time I will see her. When I said goodbye I actually said Goodbye and told her I loved her and she got very teary. My nan never cries.

My heart is actually breaking

Normal service will be resumed tomorrow.

Hmmm rather sorry for the maudlin post. Yesterday was rough. Ive tried working out how to delete it and cant work it out.

I did eat my way through quite a lot yesterday and today have had family over. Mac n cheese then made a gingerbread house with the kids then destroyed it with a nerf gun and ate it. Not so well thought out calorie wise.

Turkey pie tonight then tomorrow back into my usual routine as Im at the gym the next 3 days. Hope you guys are all ok

You have to hit the gear icon to remove a post but I don't think thats an option for normal users. Anyway, you posted what you felt and thats important. I have been at my grandmothers funeral all week with family so my eating hasn't been anywhere where I want it to be. I'm not worried about it, it wasn't emotional eating, it was just circumstance. But we will move on.

I am glad you had a chance to say goodbye to your loved one. The last communication I got from my grandmother was a thank you card that arrived the day after her death, for the thanksgiving flowers I sent her.

I think posting what you feel is very important whether it is negative or positive. I know those feelings so well.. three times I have spoken on the phone to loved ones in England knowing it is the last time I will ever talk to them.. it's heartbreaking.

Pat what a treasure for you to keep, I am so sorry for your loss.
