Good morning everyone! I know it's a little late, but guess who got 8+ hours of sleep?!! Meeee!
In my book, sleep+ nutrition+ exercise = success!
Yesterday I wanted to rest, ended up doing a deep cleaning in the house and being on my feet all day.
I really have to give my feet some rest and TLC. We have flurrys here in WI. I will be staying in, relaxing, cooking and finally taking it easy for a day.
Can't wait to hear what your day is like!
Make it fabulous!!!!

Yesterday's work celebration left me shy on calories, but didn't need to eat dinner after the festivities. Just had a protein shake after lifting, salvaged the day, barely.

Today's plan is to drink lots of water and keep my calories down. And, get some extra steps in at some point today!

    2. 10,000 steps

Not feeling well today at all. Stayed home from work to rest and hopefully get ahead if this so I am not sick for Christmas. Today will simply be a rest day for me with healthy foods to fuel my body.

I'm going to try going cold turkey after a week full of eating a bunch of cookies and some candy. I keep telling myself, just one, or just two, but then all of a sudden its like oh-no I had 5 or 6 ect. Its too hard to resist that addicting white stuff called sugar. All of this Christmas junk should only be consumed on Christmas. I had 2 cookies this morning but I will try to make it the last cookies of this week. Christmas can be a cheat day, New years can be a cheat day too.. but this cannot be a whole month/winter season of eating sweets and crap!

On the plus side I am working out more than I have in years now that I have the time and a fully healed ankle. My goal was to run 2 miles today but its raining right now so I'll have to see if it clears up. If not then its stationary bike, and then my strength training routine. I may be burning off the crap I'm eating with tons of exercise, but I know that that still does not justify eating unhealthy. I gotta work on my diet.
