I've got myfitnesspal synced with the Fitbit program. I haven't purchased my fitbit yet and was planning to get the fitbit flex. Any comments on the flex compared to the charge? I have a windows phone and am having to return my jawbone that is not compatible.

I don't know anything about the new Charge, but I have both a Fitbit Flex and a Jawbone UP24. They both do the exact same thing—the biggest difference being that Fitbits can sync with a computer via a dongle. And Fitbit customer service is way better than Jawbone's.

I think the biggest difference for me is the water resistance. My flex does not leave my arm between charges whereas the charge cannot be worn in the shower... More chance for me to forget it.

The Charge will measure stairs (Vertical movement) and also has an automatic sleep mode. The band is wider and also has a display rather than the dots with Flex. I chose the Flex because it is smaller. I wear my watch on my non-dominant(left) wrist and Charge would be too big to wear together.
