Motivation for running in the evenings!

Today I start training for my marathon that I plan on running in May. Here is my issue, I normally run early in the morning like around 4:30 5 am. Hubby is working really early mornings. like leave the house by 4:30 and we have 2 little kids at home so I need to start getting my training runs done in the evening after I get off work. How do you keep your self motivated to run after work. I find that I just want to go home and relax, hence the morning running. I feel like 3am is just too early to get up and of course its really cold as well... Any one have some good tips?
Thanks,

Same as running in the early mornings: set your gear out and get going as soon as you get home from work. I usually change clothes when I get home from work, so rather than changing into relaxing clothes, I put on running gear. I also eat a snack as I'm leaving my office so that way once I get home, I've also eaten a little something and can't make up an excuse to dawdle around the house.0

Put in on the calendar. If it's on the calendar it has to happen, right?0

I take my clothes to work with me and change there. Usually I drive to a park on my way home or run around the area where I work. That way, when I get home, I am done.0

i try to think about it all day to get pumped, and basically just leave reminders everywhere. If i don't do that i start to lose motivation.0

I run straight from work. Get dressed there and run around my work neighborhood before I head home. It's actually great to blow off steam after a tough day.0

I'll defiantly look into running after work. there are a few routes that are popular so I wouldn't be by myself. Maybe I can miss the worst of traffic too :-)0

This is what I'm doing.
I've joined a running group and we meet Tuesdays and Thursdays so I bring my gear to work. Change and head over there.
Maybe a group would aid in getting you out there during the week?
It is for me this winter! I'll probably go back to *kitten*-crack of dawn come summer since I hate the heat lol0 -
I try to think of it as my way of de-stressing from the day and something to look forward to, but I also find the morning much easier, so I know what you mean.0

I normally run in the evenings. I run directly after work. I go to a park near my office that has a running trail/loop. So, my run is done before I'm home, is more fun than around the neighborhood, plus I've missed all the traffic on the drive home.0
