Thanks everyone for replying to my post. I got some friend requests too which is pretty cool. :-) At the moment, I am a bit restricted with my exercising due to having my gall bladder removed 12 days ago. Still a little sore but I am feeling GREAT!

I would like to know if anyone here is interested in doing the Couch to 10k program with me. I have the app downloaded on my phone & would like to do some kind of running group. I do work during the week & I am a mom & wife, so I was thinking meeting up on Saturdays. That way we can keep each other accountable & we still have to do our "homework" by following the program the rest of the week.

I really have no life & want to finally start taking care of myself. :embarassed: I live in Pikesville, but I do have a car so I can meet up with anyone within a reasonable distance. Any takers?

Hi! And Yes! I also downloaded the C2K app on my phone 2 months ago. At first I tried the free version, but did not like how I kept accidentally clicking the ads that popped up at the bottom when trying to change my music. Since it alternates between walking and running, I like to alternate the tempo of the music to match, so I upgraded to the paid version. But it reset the little bit of progress I had; I had to start over.

I will be the big Three Ohh on November 13th this year and running/walking in a 5K is on my 30Before30 List (list of 30 things I want to do before my 30th birthday). It would be great to have someone to train with. I am also a full-time mom, who works during the week.

I live in the Forest Park area near a lot of good running places. (Druid Hill park, Gwynn Falls trail, Liberty Resevior, Lake Montebello etc). Would you consider alternating locations? Because I think the scenery can get a little boring after a while. Do you have any good running spots in Pikesville?

I don't mind alternating locations at all! What week are you on? I'm still on week 1.
