Hello MFP!
With the new year, I always have and likely always will try to think of things I would like to do better in the year to come. In the past, it was always about weight loss. For 2015, I want to do what is necessary to be more successful in my job and to reduce how often I use curse words.
For the first time, my resolution is not about weight loss. This is not because I have reached the end of my weight loss journey, it is because I realized that I will never reach the end of my journey to total overall health and well-being. Whether I still have more pounds to drop, or I decide to run a marathon, or want to maintain my weight, or whatever else I decide to improve in the future, this journey will not end. I will always want to improve myself and be the best version of me. Achieving my weight-loss goals is something I think about everyday and the turning of the calendar tonight to 2015 won't change that.
A fresh start is always nice, but that fresh start can start at any moment of any day. For most of us, our fresh start was surgery. For some of us, we have had a couple of fresh starts or "re-sets" even since the surgery. So whether tomorrow is a fresh start or just another day in your weight loss journey, I wish all of MFP's a very happy new year and I hope you achieve the results you're seeking in 2015!
I would love it if you all would share your 2014 transformations and successes and what you would like to achieve in 2015!!

2014 I made the commitment to myself to be in control of my weight-- as in thinking about what I am eating/drinking and what quantity I am putting in my mouth. No more mindless eating. This will continue into 2015 (and forever) and I am adding faithful activity, be it at the gym, walking, swimming or whatever activity I choose to make my body move.0

As you stated in your post this journey is continual and life long. In 2014 I made good decisions and bad ones. I fell back into some old habits and declare that this year I will make better choices and not let those habits consume me. My plans for 2015 is to continue to get stronger mentally, continue to work out to achieve a healthier me and to lose this lingering 55lbs. I will not obsess over lbs on the scale but focus more on overall health. Doing this I know I will achieve my weight loss and health goal. Good luck everyone.0

For the first time in my entire life (I am 43!) my goal for 2015 is to GAIN weight (specifically muscle ). I am currently in the absolute best shape of my entire life, both weight and endurance and health. My goal for 2015 is to be able to say that same phrase again exactly one year from now... I want to be in even better shape than I am today. I plan to make that my resolution every year for the rest of my life. In fact, by the time I die I should be in perfect health0
