Fitbit and Olivia Method

I'm trying to figure out a good balance between eating enough food while still maintaining a 2 pound weight loss, and I thought the Olivia Method might be a good option for me.
I wear a Fitbit pretty much 24/7 unless I am charging it. So, would it work to set my MFP goal to maintain my current weight at a sedentary level, and just use my Fitbit adjustment? My goal will be to eat my BMR and keep my calories remaining under 1,000.
Is this right? It seems less complicated than figuring out my TDEE, etc and doing all that math.

Well, I still figured out my TDEE and that is my "goal" on MFP per the Olivia Method. My fitbit then syncs up and makes adjustments to my calorie level according to my activity that day with the fitbit. You don't have to do anything extra.0
