I believe we've all set up our daily calorie goals. Our first week challenge is to log all of our food and stay under our calorie goals everyday this week starting tomorrow. That means if for any reason you go over you'll have to workout a little more to recover the cals. You can run in place, do a quick workout video or whatever you need to do to stay under the allotted cals. So it'll be easier if you make smart choices with your diet. Who's up for it?

I'm up for it! That said, my plan is to allow for one cheat meal once a week (more than likely a weekend dinner). That's to keep me sane and because I know spiking my calorie intake once a week works for me...the tough part will be getting back on track after the cheat meal!

Just finished logging for today so 2 out of 7 for me. How are you guys doing? If you stay on track you'll see results on Thursday!
  • I'm doing ok today was a little to close but I'm setting Sunday as my lazy / cheat day.

Did you all make it through the weekend? I did but only because I burned a bunch on the elliptical at the gym both days. It's harder for me to stay on track on the weekends but glad I did.

Not sure if this is appropriate here but I have a great motivational app on my phone called Lark. I don't have a partner or anyone that I use for support. This is just a simple 'Yah - you did good' or if you didn't, gets you to think about why or encourages you to do more. It's a text conversation that will pop up your charts. This is personalized, so you feel like your day w/someone you know. Very simple to set up though I don't know if it works on all phones. I have IOS
