Seeing a new cardiologist on Tuesday. Hoping he can set me straight on the state of my heart health. My current cardiologist is too conventional in his practice and advice.
Wednesday I'm going in for my annual physical and health check. Going to ask about getting as much blood work done as possible. I want to have the data analyzed to see what I might be deficient in due to my diet and lifestyle.
I know that 6 months ago I was Vitamin D defficient. After supplementing since then my blood work from last month showed that I'm now well above the minimum for what's considered normal. Bare in mind that's from taking 10,000IU daily! That's almost 3x the usual recommend max daily dose. But I spend so much time indoors it makes sense that I would be so low and need so much supplementation.0 -
Another great day for this girl today. A crazy jaunt in crazy weather! Tomorrow I do my official weigh in (I did very well when I weighed in Friday for the FB challenge). Closing my food diary in a couple minutes and starting the wind down to the evening (I know, it's only 5:00pm).0

Kevin. I used to get blister all the time, then I went to a "fixing your feet" Clinic and boy did that open my eyes! Anyways, key to preventing blister is reduce friction and moisture. I use anti antiperspirant on my feet and/or body glide. NO COTTON socks. I wear injinji wicking toe sock but a sock liner works great. For the sock liner try to get silk blend, keeps you feet dry. Then wear a merino wool socks. I tape certain spots that I know might get blisters with kinesio tape. Once you use Kenesio tape, band aids are a thing of the past. Check out this site. Its the guy that gave that clinic. You will find everything you need to know about blisters and foot care. We all know how a blister can hinder our activities
