Races in Canada

Morning!

I live in Maine (southern Maine) but my family is largely in Canada - mostly PEI.
I'm considering taking a vacation up to PEI this summer or fall (I <3 PEI so much) and as a change of scenery, I wanted to run a race while I was up there. But I'm having difficulties finding anything.

Is there a Canadian version of runningintheusa.com?
I found one site and there was only one PEI race (the marathon in October), everything else was in NB or NS. I know I've seen other races advertised there...
If anyone could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it!

    Another site I know that has Canadian race is this one:

    The US and Canadian ones are displayed in two month blocks.

    Thanks but any links for non-marathons?
    I haven't run one yet and I plan to for 2016 (thinking Sugarloaf Marathon)

    halfmarathons.net might get you to half marathons in the various provinces. To get down to the 10K or 5K distances might be a bit challenging.

    Athlinks.com is sometimes useful to find races of all sorts of distances.

    You could try http://events.mec.ca and http://runningroom.ca. MEC hosts 5,10 &15K runs in most of the province, nothing flashy but usually well organized.

    Check the running room www.runningroom.com under "races" and you can search for races in the PEI area :)
