Sleeping Metrics are a little scary

Hello, I just got my fitbit last week so I hope this question isn't a dumb one!

I have been tracking my sleep with my Fitbit Flex for the past few nights. I had it set to "Sensitive" - I've now set it to normal so I will see how that works tonight, but every night so far I'm told I'm only getting about 3 hours of restful sleep, and the rest is spent tossing and turning. I'm afraid it's making me feel more exhausted than I am, to know how little real sleep I get.

Is this normal, that is to say, is the sleep tracker unreliable/too sensitive? If not, I'm not sure what I can do to improve my sleep except to take my pillow and sleep on the floor away from my husband :( Anyone have any advice? Also I'd love to have some fitbit friends.

Thank you

This is one of the things I'm most interested in for when I get my FitBit.

Do you feel rested? Perhaps it's just too sensitive and saying you're not getting restful sleep when in fact you are?

I've found the sleep tracker to be hit or miss. I didn't have any issues with it being oversenstive, for the most part, but it could be a little wonky sometimes. I had times where I was tracking sleep, but I would have steps during those times. I have no history of sleep walking and didn't get up on those nights. There were also times it showed me as restfully sleeping when I know I was because I was actually awake, but I wasn't moving so it thought I was sleeping.

Here is the info from my dash board. Last night is the highest/biggest bar. 2 things changed:
    1. I changed the setting to be less sensitive
    2. My husband slept on the couch because I was "kicking and rolling".

I think tonight I will have to wrap myself in a sheet like a burrito and see what happens.

I once had the Fitbit track sleep when I hadn't started the timer on my phone.

It's not useful IMHO to use the sleep tracker since it's just tracking the motion. I had a night where I was awake most of the night but still and my Fitbit told me I had a great nights sleep since I didn't move
