MFP on Note 4 not synching steps with Fitbit

My MFP app on Noote 4 does not show steps logged by fitbit unless I disconnect/connect. It synchs everything else. Any pointers to fix the issue?

  My MFP has stopped synching my steps too all of a sudden. I'm using the app for IPad. Also looking for any tips

  I have a note 4 and everything seems to be working ok.
