Ya'll. Seriously. I just made a chicken pita pizza and I may never order pizza again. It was SO good, and HEALTHY! Bonus! Thought I'd share in case anyone was interested.
Rosemary and Olive Oil flatbread pizza crust (12 inches long)
1/4 cup Sun dried tomato pesto sauce
Chopped spinach (.5 ounce was more than enough for 1 pita)
Half of a diced roma tomato
Diced baby bella mushrooms (about an ounce)
3.5 ounces of cooked chicken (I used rotisserie. Could probably use b/s chicken breast to make it even healthier, but I like easy)
1/2 cup reduced fat feta
1/4 cup reduced fat mozzarella
Sprinkle with pepper to taste
The entire 12 inch pizza (which I had half and really over did it):
606 calories
27 g fat
41 g carbs
52 g protein

Great idea. I picked up some flatbread like things at the deli today so I can make my own pizza. Looking forward to it.0

LOL That is what we had for dinner last night. I used Flatout flatbread--90 cals. I used burger. mushrooms, cheese, sauce and sundried tomatoes on mine. I ate 3/4 of it. Hubby had more toppings on his including sausage0
