Go to fitbit.com view your profile (click your photo or if you've not added a photo, the circle in the upper right). Near the top you’ll see your public url which will start with //www. You will need to add https: to the beginning of it. For instance, my public url is //www.fitbit.com/user/32NTMP you would add the https: to the beginning so it would be https://www.fitbit.com/user/32NTMP
You can also copy and paste it directly from your browser and wouldn't have to edit the beginning.
Click the link or copy and paste it into your browser. It will take you to that person’s page where you have the option to add them as a friend.

I am actually considering upgrading from the One to the Charge HR though. I'd really like to have an accurate HR/calorie burning numbers for non-step activities since I bike, use an elliptical, weight train, and do other mixed fitness activities.0 -
