Hi, I've been using mfp for a couple of years to monitor my weight and exercise and am addicted to it and log everyday. It's enabled me to lose the extra weight I put on during menopause and I am now fitter than I've ever been!!
I joined a gym at the age of 52 and now go at least 4 times a week and love it and also try to run (well more a slow jog).
I live in the Midlands and would love to chat and exchange tips with you all!

Welcome aboard, there are only a few of us who actively post, as you can see. There is
TheMrWobbly - the motivator. I am all about openness and transparency, so other advanced members can view your diaries and give you tips on diary keeping. I will connect to any member of the MFP that requests me, as I believe this important app. needs support from the users.

Hi Welcome Nice to hear success stories on here. Sent you a friend request, I think MFP got so much more enjoyable when I had friends to share achievements etc with....0

Comparing it with other software, MFP has the ability to generate a fantastic on-line support community. That why weightwatchers is so successful. MFP is a virtual community and you can be part of it while sat at home. Not least it is free, so it encourages people to try out it. We are at the early stages of building a much stronger community.
Honoured to be your friend.0 -
Thanks for the welcome guys, I hope I can contribute something to the forum. I'm not sure if I've got all my settings right to enable everyone to see my diary/profile etc.0

Hi, just read your quote. Unsure if I'm doing this right! I too live in the Midlands (East) and am new to MFP from January this year! I'm 54, have arthritis in feet and knees so gym is a no go! I walk with my dog daily, can't seem to hit my 10,000 daily target though! So far lost 7lb and finding this app invaluable!0
