removing steps from MFP

My motorcycle ride added 10k to my fitbit dashboard. I was able to go in and add a start time and duration for "driving" to negate the steps, however MFP still reflects them as steps taken even though fitbit has dropped them.
I have a Surge and already tried a force sync. Can I remove steps from MFP once they are synced in?

It should update correctly.
All Fitbit sees is new stats that it needs to send over.
MFP gets file of new stats and should update.
So something there is messed up.
If using the apps, you have another layer of syncs going on too. So might check the web accounts if not using that.0 -
MFP just stopped responding, then force closed, then updated. Must just be me. Still waiting on fitbit exercise calories to update, though.0
