Rescheduled Race

I have a half coming up that was scheduled for 22 Feb.
Because this is New England and Mother Nature hates us, we've got like a million feet of snow.
The race has been postponed until 15 Mar.
Ugh.

My original plan was this:
Hal Intermediate Half program leading up to the half.
Starting 9 Mar, Hal's intermediate 15k program since I have a 15k race on 17 May.
I also have a 5mi race on 15 Mar.

Obviously that 5mi race is off my schedule (boo). And I'm not really worried about the impact of the rescheduled race on the 15k program.
But I don't know how to deal with the extra time.
I'm scheduled for a 12mi run on Sunday - that might get cut short and/or moved inside due to aforementioned Mother Nature's hatred of Maine. (seriously, another foot of frigging snow this weekend).

I get that my taper week would be moved to the week before. But what about this coming week and the one following it? How should I train? Just repeat the last 2 weeks of the plan?

Please help!
Thank you all sooooo much =]

If you want to do your 12 this weekend, you might want to try to do it Saturday before the storm moves in. Sunday is not looking good.
I got that email about the race reschedule this afternoon. I'll admit I have mixed feelings, but it is what it is. I think this is only the second time they've ever had to cancel.

yeah I'm either going at the *kitten* crack of dawn when its just me and the plows or 6mi on the TM

I have mixed feelings about it too. i was looking forward to it and having a 2 week break from a program lol

I had been thinking of signing up for it as there was still space left, but then 7 feet of snow happened. When I ran it last year, there was a snowstorm about a week before. They suggested bringing a shovel to shovel out a parking space. So I decided last week, there is no way I'd run that race on Feb 22. Last year they almost rerouted the course too, making it shorter. Anyway, it sucks, but a HM in these parts on Feb 22 would suck too. I'm not going to be able to run at all this weekend if they don't cancel the blizzard.

My lazy butt didn't run at all which is stupid since I barely got hit with snow.

But I did re-work my schedule to include the repeated weeks. I'm using Hal's intermediate hlaf plan, I'm going back to the Monday after the 10mi training run. So yay, more intervals =[ lol
