Today I did:
-25 minutes bodyweight training
-30 mins yoga
-30 mins playing guitar
I feel pretty happy with myself. The few past months I wanted to get back to working out and healthier ways but I wasn't doing it. Now I started again I'm wondering "Why is it so hard to motivate ourselves to do things that are so beneficial to us ?" Humans are some weird little creatures sometimes !
Have a nice day and let me know what you did today that will help you reaching your goal.

Isabelle - you posted a great mixture of activities today. I really appreciate your inclusion of playing the guitar. It is a good example for me to follow. Because I lose weight a such a very, very slow pace it is easy to get discouraged. Tracking other positive elements of life may help.
I completed my stair master work out earlier and I was going to lift but do not have the motivation. I am going to do household chores and then yoga - the stretching will feel great.
I hope that everyone in this group will meet at least one of their personal goals today!
Take care,
Susan0 -
Today my shoulder is sore from yesterday but we still took our dog out to the woods to run around while my husband and I rode the bikes. I think we rode about 3 miles but it felt like more, especially with all those hills. Gonna check the weather for this week and plan a run for the near future.0

Way to go girls !!
I have to say (and i'm sincere) that I'm very happy to have both of you with me everyday. It's not that easy to find people who are actives and supportives and participates. I'm gonna continue trying to recruit people like you for the group and you can do the same if you feel like it but know that just having you here encourage me a lot and I hope you also benefit from it !
Kris, I envy your activities in the woods, I can't wait to get back there myself !
Susan, in my opinion losing weight slowly, even if it's sometimes easy to get discouraged, is still the best way to do it. I strongly believe that the BIGGEST factor in weight loss succes is patience. I mean does it matter if it takes 2-3-4 years losing weight if once it's gone you don't put it back on for the rest of your life... When the weight loss is slow pace I think it's easier after to keep it off.
(Also one last thing, I'm sorry if sometimes I write things in a funny way, it's because english is not my first language (primary language is french) and I know I make mistakes when I write, so I just wanted you to know)

Bon'jour Mon'Amie! Your english is amazing! The fact that you are bilingual is impressive. I took 3 years of French in High School and cannot communicate at all - but I loved the language.0

Isabelle - I'm from a french community in south Louisiana and I'm a first generation native english speaker. I can totally relate to growing up bilingual and surrounded by two languages. Funny things still come out of my mouth!
Today was a sightseeing day and the last of our vacay - lots of walking, morning abs and stretching workout and stayed under calories today. So it was a "lite" day but I feel good about it and plan to hit the gym tomorrow when we get home.0 -
Thanks Isabelle that's very sweet, and I'll try my best to keep helping out any way I can. And also I hardly noticed the typos or "funny writing," but I did get a hint that you were bilingual when one of your update posts about how many days you had logged in was in French one day. I don't know a lot, just a few words, enough to recognize it when I see it written but not enough to actually hold a spoken conversation lol.0

Yeah French is a complicated language. I'm a pretty good writter in french. I know I'm doing ok in english but still
