A man that clean has to be shady. No one in this ZA can be that clean and still be good. :D

Who do you guys think he is?

I know they needed protein. I know they were hungry. Eating dogs though... oh well, I suppose it was going to come to that at some point.

He has to be bad news - like you said too clean and too friendly and the 'I have great news" line sounded like a Jehovah's Witness. Plus there is whatever group killed Noah's family so I'm guessing he is one of them.

I really liked this episode, esp the way that Maggie, Sasha and Darryl's ways of dealing with the grief were paralleled and then came back together at the end. Also how Noah kinda confesses to Sasha about being an idiot and getting Tyreese killed and then Sasha promptly acts like an idiot and almost gets Rick killed. Very clever storytelling and pacing. And of course the "We are the walking dead" line gave me chills.

Only didn't like the miracle-y nature of the storm only hitting the walkers. Cool scene but too forced.

Yeah, I agree. It was sloppy writing too.

Did anyone else think that they should have done a better job making sure the fire wasn't visible to a walker or some bad human group in the woods? That's something in the back of my mind as a viewer. The groups still seems so sloppy with security and situational awareness.

This episode was slow but I think it was definitely needed. It was kind of hard to watch because I don't think that we've ever seen the whole group that hopeless. I really liked the scene where it showed the group walking slowing with the zombies behind them. It really captured the physical and emotional exhaustion that the group is feeling.

I wanted to hug Daryl when he was crying in the wood by himself. I think the only other time he's cried was when he found zombie Merle.

Was anyone else expecting Carol to start making out with Daryl in when they wandered off together? The kiss on the forehead was sweet but I thought it might go the other way...

YES! For a second there I was like, "Yes, yes, ye- oh, OK, she's just kissing him on the forehead. She's such a mom."

I was worried when Carl put Judith down to hold the barn door closed. I was really concerned that something was going to happen to her. I feel like they focused a lot, relatively speaking, on her this episode, which makes think they might be writing her character out. I seriously don't think I'll be able to handle it if they kill her off.

I also agree that this Aaron guy looks WAY too clean. I can't imagine he doesn't realize that's suspicious. Would it have been so hard to dirty himself up before introducing himself?

How the hell does he know Rick's name? How long has this guy been around? It's not like they've been in that area for days on end.

Does anyone think that maybe his group sent the walkers to the barn? Or maybe there are rival factions, and one sent the walkers to the barn, then Aaron is from the other faction and trying to act like the savior and get some more people on their side. I'm really curious how this is going to go.

Overall, I thought it was a great episode because it really harkened back to the first few episodes when walkers were a real threat to their day-to-day existence, before all the drama set in.

Who do you all think is next? For some reason I think Abraham is next to go.

If Aaron's group are the ones who hacked up the walkers in Noah's suburb then they could have picked them up there and followed them ever since. If he is the one who left the water then it's too bad they didn't let Eugene drink because then we'd know if they're friend or enemy.

On that note, I'm anticipating saying farewell to Eugene next.

Hm, my husband thinks Morgan beat them to DC and sent someone back out for Rick. In which case, why not send Morgan, someone a few of them know? I don't buy that Morgan could beat them up there given how far behind he was per TTD, but my husband said maybe by himself he could make better time.

Maybe if Aaron was really gathering intel, he can tell how valuable this group would be to his. But it may also mean that he already thinks certain people are disposable.

We really should have a running pool as to who dies next.

    I like this theory!

Does anyone else follow The Walking Dead on Facebook? They posted a picture yesterday of the entire group walking shoulder to shoulder. All I could think when I saw that was 'there is too many of them....someone is going to die.'

I put my money on Rosita or Tara dying next.

I thought the scene in the barn with them pushing against the door to keep walkers out was a dream Maggie was having.

When she woke up, that's the same thought I had until I saw that tornado path (or whatever that was).

I think we'd have to have some sort of awesome act or insight into Tara or Rosita for one of them to go next. Neither of them has had a good monologue yet ;)

I kind of like the tornado scene. When they were out on the road and it was storming, I was worried they were going to get hit then. What makes the scene less forced for me, was the focus on Maggie's loss of faith and then walking out and seeing what would appear to be a sure act of God.

I think this new guy is part of the group that killed Noah's family. Nothing good can come from meeting new people. I'm convinced.
  • New people have to be met. Tyreese and Sasha were new, Michone was new, hey even Hershel and Maggie and Beth were new in season 2. Dying is a part of life when the dead eat the living, and you need numbers just to last a little longer. That said, I prefer the episodes when psycho people aren't the problem. It was smart to have thirst be a real threat this episode.
