What are your goals?

I'd like to maintain my current weight, but my downfall is evening snacking. When I get that under control, I usually do well, but it's often my gateway to letting my eating habits slide in general.

  • I want to get back down to around 130. That is a good and reasonable weight for me. A part of me would love to be at 120 (I'm only 5'2 1/2") but I'm really VERY skinny at that weight (like 16% body fat and a size 2). I was doing really well with my weight before we moved out here to our farm almost 7 years ago, but it's been gradually creeping up since then and I am NOT happy where I'm at. I started back at WW at the beginning of January and have lost a decent amount of weight since then, but I think that this will be good and less expensive.

I have very specific goals in mind. My inspiration occurred last summer when my butt made the news (long story). I realized that, while I wasn't overweight, I wasn't fit. I began working out and dieting. My progress has been very slow. My goal is a weight of 115-117 and 17-18% body fat. I'm close! At 5'4" I think this is reasonable for me. I want an awesome butt, strong arms and legs. I want to be able to run a 5k with ease...haven't managed to run one without walking yet!
  • I want to get back to around 130 as well. Being, fit, trim and healthy is my goal. I was at 135 but between the holidays and weaning baby #3, it has crept back up again. I'm 5'8 and my weight loves to sit around my middle. I'm also an emotional eater and stress is a big trigger.
  • Five months pregnant, so my goals are not gaining crazy weight, I'm up about 15 pounds, so I'm just trying to watch my ice cream intake. After baby comes, my goals are to get back to a healthy weight, which I haven't been at since my 2nd was born. :/
  • I'm not sure what my ultimate goal will be, but for now I would love to lose about 20 pounds. This will put me around the weight I was at my wedding/when I got pregnant for the first time. We want to ttc number 3 soon and I would feel so much better about my body and health if I could lose some weight first. My problem is eating too much sugar and large portions, so I'm hoping to cut back on both!
  • Hi, this is Karen. I want to get down to about 138, so about 18 more pounds to go. I did weight watchers online, but the prices are going up, and this is free and just as useful. I try to go for healthier "clean" but not crazy choices. I love fruit, and have discovered I also love almond milk in smoothies. I just bought some cute pants on sale from Talbots a little small--so here goes.
  • I want to complete this Hundred Pushups program and generally tone up. http://www.hundredpushups.com/
  • I used to be able to do that many push-ups, but since having kids, my abs are kind of a mess. I don't know if I could even work back up to 100, but it would be cool to try!
  • I'm hoping to lose 20 pounds. I've gradually gained a lot of weight since college, and I want to get down to a more healthy size before I start having kids and dealing with pregnancy weight gain.

I've lost 60 pounds so far, but I'd like to lose another 35. That would put me at 145, which is the middle of the healthy weight range for my height and frame. I'm not too hung up on a number, though. My main goal is to be fit and have a lot of lean muscle, which may put me at a higher weight. But probably around a size 6 (I'm at a 10-12 right now).
