I finally heard back from the bariatric clinic I applied to and my intake appointment is scheduled for 2/3/15. I'm super-excited, but I'm also hoping that I may be able to get a little info about what I should be able to expect from it. They said it would be all-day with 5 different appointments included, and would run through lunch. Was anyone else's intake appointment like that?

    Oh yes, with several more. At Vanderbilt you are processed in a group format, and then they split you off for private appts

    also had a long psychiatric written test to take.

    Same here, and had to get clearance from all before it would be scheduled. The psychiatrist had me write a letter to the surgeon indicating why I was choosing the Sleeve, what I'd tried in the past, what research and how much thought id given tge total lifestyle change, how I made the decision and what my expectations were post surgery. This was after the long counseling appointment and written test. Also required a letter of support from my lung doctor.
