Just need to vent... I love losing weight, but hate...

...the spotting! I know WHY it happens, but I hate it. The hormonal chaos also turns me into a rage beast who wants to eat all of the food. It doesn't happen the entire time, but definitely happens quite often when I'm losing weight. Even when I was on BCP I'd experience breakthrough bleeding that would drive me nuts. The hungry hungry rageful hippo side effect is pretty counter intuitive for losing more weight, too.

End rant. Had to post here, cos my husband just stares at me bewildered like. ;)

    Fat stores/regulates hormones. So as you are burning fat and releasing hormones, things will be out of balance for a while. It's just how it is. I had to up my BCP level to one higher, and all my breakthru stuff stopped in its tracks. But being on BCP at all at 38 has affected my BP. Not willing to take any baby chances though, so it is what I live with. My choice.

    I know you're nursing, but there has to be something you can take/do during this time. On top of that, your hormones are all wacky as your body settles back to not being pregnant. Nursing should actually help balance some of that out... Best of luck from here.

    I might suggest some combination of meditation and yoga. Also, I know sleep is likely crazy right now, but getting as much sleep as you can when you can, too, will help those hormones level out quicker. (hugs)

    Thankfully it was just a couple of days! My poor husband. Haha.

    It definitely sucks! My hormones are all over the place and my acne is so bad right now but I know once I lose some weight it will all stabilize again. We just have to hang in there.
