Dealing with tiredness?!

How is everyone? My two year old has suddenly started waking between 4.30-5.30am (and we used to sleep til 7.30-8!) as well as night wakings from both kids here and there, and I'm really struggling some days to stick to plan because I'm so exhausted! I'm craving sugar and feel so lacking in energy I'm struggling to do my workouts once the kids are in bed. How do you guys stay motivated?

Wow, it must be trending! My two year old has been waking up at least once, up to four times per night. It is so hard for me because I work out at 5:15am. (My husband is smart, he puts in his earplugs from the shooting range before he goes to bed, he doesn't hear anything) Last week when she woke up four times I just skipped my workout the following morning. There was no way to I would have had the energy to do it. I don't beat up on myself though. I always think by skipping one workout I will end up going downhill and stop again. But I force myself to continue the next day.
As for craving sugar. I buy a lot of 90-100 calorie snacks. I love cookies and such so I bought some fiber one brownies and they're really good. I always have those on hand. I'm a snacker so I always have a lot of quick snacks. I recently just found carrot chips and I like them, they're sweet.0 -
My 9 month old STILL isn't sleeping through the night. At this point I think I've forgotten what being fully rested even feels like. It's like chronic tiredness is my new normal.
I have no advice...just much empathy!0 -
is it possible to get in a nap if your children both still take one? nothing feels better than a nap! i take bout a 20 minute one every second day since my little guy is sometimes getting up at 6 am.0

3,2 and 3weeks!!!! You must be tired. Don't beat yourself up about weight loss & exercise yet. You must need some energy for your brood. X0 -
Our 10 week old is still sleeping in our room and he is the noisiest sleeper! I'm struggling at the moment to know what are noises driven by a need for food and what are noises that are simply made in the course of a nights sleep. I'm feeding him at 11pm and currently trying to get him through to at least 3.30am before his next feed - I know he can do it as he went till 5am one night! However, from about 1.30am he shuffles, squeaks, puffs and squawks his way through the night and I lie in bed listening to him and wondering when it becomes a need for food. And by 3.30am I've had enough and I'm getting him up for food - when in reality I'm not sure he needs it. It's not good - I'm knackered!! Husband and I have discussed it this morning and I've promised that I'm going to resist getting him up tonight until it is obviously a food request - we shall see
And as for his ability to nap during the day - don't get me started! He is upstairs and asleep (allegedly) right now but it won't last
Tanyaw14 - I'm in admiration of you, I don't know how I would even start to cope with three - particularly at the ages that they are. Squidgysam is right - don't sweat on the exercise right now, you must get some just chasing your three around anyway - but there is no way I could have exercised when my lad was only 3 weeks old. Focus on taking care of you all - the exercise will come in time.0 -

Thank you for the advice. I just take the kids out for walks and play time nothing to serious.0
