I don't want false "gains" to show up, so I opted not to get one. Besides, I like entering my losses and my scale seems fairly accurate and attractive. I'm curious to know what others' experiences are with Aria, though.

I have one and I like it. If I gain a little it does show but that's because I actually did gain the weight even if its just water weight. The weight links to my fitbit app and myfitnesspal app

I had one, and liked it a lot... The convenience of auto logging was great. After about 6 months, though, it became quite inconsistent. Weigh yourself 3 times in 5 minutes and vary by 1-3kg, which I found messed with my head a lot. I contacted fitbit, but was told that a little bit of variation was "normal".

I have recently replaced it with a slightly cheaper, far more reliable Tanita scale. No wifi connectivity, but so much more consistent.

If you do go the route of the Aria, I highly recommend an online app called TrendWeight which the aria can sync to. Gives you, as the name suggests, an overall trend which takes into account the "noise" of daily weigh ins.

I have the Aria and it is as acurate as my Tanita ($$$) was.
The trick is to weight yourself at the same time, naked, with clean feet. With the Body Fat scales, you are supposed to weigh towards the end of the day, when you are fully hydrated. Do it in the morning and your weight will be low, but your fat% will read high. Do it at 6 PM and the weight will be higher, but your fat% will be more accurate.
