Will I be duplicating calories burned shown in MyFitnessPal upon the following SYNCING of:

AUTOMATIC ENTRY - Wear my Fitbit one for my Zumba class

+

MANUALLY ENTRY - Maually entry of Zumba exercise in MFP

Can I get a yes or no answer only?

Yes, but you need to have the same start time and minutes you worked out when you add exercise.

As long as you enter accurate start and end times you won't be duplicating your burn. Fitbit will replace it's calculated burn for that time with the amended MFP version.

However - MFP is generally considered generous with it's calorie burns - so you may be getting "bonus" calories.

I add any non-step based activity in my fitbit app. The fitbit calorie burn is less generous than MFP. This has worked for me so far.

However (again) - I don't add my dance classes (not Zumba) as a seperate activity. I consider dancing to be a step based activity. I just let fitbit do it's job and work it out for me. It's worked for me so far.

All you can really do is pick a method of recording that suits you. Check your actual results. If they don't add up then adjust things accordingly.

    No.

Automatic entry - it isn't though, is it - you pressed the button to get it.

It's not an addition to the daily calories, it's a view of the stats during that block of time.

Manual entry - Zumba is step based - why in the world would you manually log it?
