I was at the swap meet the other day with my friends, and I was looking at some T-shirts. The guy walked over to me and said, "these are plus sizes, the regular sizes are over there". It was pretty cool! Totally opposite of the feeling I used to have when I was first able to shop for regular sizes, that someone will come over to me and point me toward the plus sizes!

    What a great feeling! I am just now able to venture out of the plus size department a little bit and still feel a little out of place lol so I totally understand what you are talking about :)

    Lol - yeah, I am down to size 4/6 and i still ALWAYS start in the plus section... 40 years of habit is hard to break! And those regular clothes just look so tiny on the hanger I can never believe they will actually fit :)

    I was in American Eagle the other day, and the girl said "You will need a medium in that top"
    I said "I love you for thinking that, but, i'll stick with a large" LOL
    It's very weird

    I wonder if we will ever get used to it?

    I just finished shopping for new tops with my husband. I grabbed all larges ands my husband argued with me that they would be too big. He insisted that I at least try them all on, and guess what? I left the store with mediums, and even some of the mediums I tried on were too big. I just can't wrap my head around it!
